C&K recently launched the new ATPS22 Series of anti-vandal sealed pushbutton switches that fits into space-constrained applications. Equipped with a shorter bushing than the ATP19 and ATP22 Series, the ATPS22 switches target designs with limited space behind the panel.
The corrosion-resistant ATPS22 series offers an IP67 rating that enables it to be used in harsh outdoor environments as well as indoor settings. The sealed pushbutton switches are available in a solder lug layout and are also offered with wire termination for easier integration.
The IP67-rating enables the ATPS22 to be used in harsh outdoor environments as well as standard indoor settings. With a mechanical life of 1,000,000 actuations, it is suited for frequently used applications and applications that may be hard to service once assembled, said C&K. Applications include safety & security systems, intercom “push-to-talk” devices, food & drink vending machines, parking lot ticket machines/ticket paying stations, and industrial instruments.
The momentary switch is rated at 2 A/ 36 VDC. Options include an actuator with a ring or power logo and a variety of colors for the LED indicator option. Other specifications include a dielectric strength of 2,000 Vrms @ sea level, insulation resistance of 1,000 MΩ min. @ 500 VDC, and an initial contact resistance of 50 mΩ max @ 1 A 12 VDC. The operating life is 200,000 cycles. The operating temperature range is -20˚C to 70˚C.
