New applications of medical titanium bars

The high-energy medical titanium bar and high-energy titanium plate independently developed by a biomedical enterprise are mainly used to treat cancer in human body. According to reports, this new method is that scientists put high-purity iodine into the high-purity thick wall with a length of only 1cm and a diameter less than 3mm.

This iodine decays in the form of electron capture, which can slowly release enough radiation to kill cancer cells. They implanted titanium rods in the patient's wound in this way, and the radiation they emitted gave cancer cells an average dose of radiation without damaging healthy cells.

Guest contributors are welcome at the Alloy Wiki.It is a weekly wiki and guide on alloy information and processing technology, while also about the vast array of opportunities that are present in manufacturing. Our team of writers consists of a Machining Material Supplier / Machinist / Tool and Die Maker, a Biomedical Engineer / Product Development Engineer, a Job Development Coordinator / Adjunct Professor, and a President and CEO of a manufacturing facility.
